Lets Talk About Anarchy.

This is a topic that has been floating around my dome for awhile now. I am a very political person, very radical, and for all intents and purposes, very punk in theory. I grew up around a very punk mother, so I know the scene and I do identify with a lot of the morals. I do not particularly identify as a 'punk', and that is specifically because I have issues with the idea of Anarchy as a whole.
Now, as most know, forms of governing the masses are nuanced ideas with all of their own issues. I align the most with socialism, for reasons I will possibly write about in the future. Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, and Anarchy all have their pros and cons [although we know that capitalism is mostly evil by nature.] and most only work in theory. But obviously, some will work better than others, and some are more fit for a comfortable lifestyle for the public on the basis of believing in the people.
Anarchy, however, is something I DID believe in for a long time! I loved the idea of it, I loved the people that wanted to support it, and I loved the idea of taking down the system to have NO system. Inherent, true freedom in its simplest form. But the more I grew, the more I matured, the more I started seeing the underlying issues.
A lot of people discredit Socialism and Communism on the factor of it "relying too much on humanities good and ignoring the greed" but I rarely ever see that criticism of Anarchy, where I feel that would be the most fitting con. And of course, I could just not be looking hard enough; that may be true.
But that also isn't the only criticism I hold; I also believe that anarchy contradicts itself on many levels.
The idea of having a system that ISN'T a system is contradictory.
To have a society, a WORKING society, humans must have systems and rules. Every Man for Himself is not something that can feasibly be achieved, as it leaves almost no room for community. Even in the animal kingdom, we can see systems and communities in place, and we are humans a part of the animal kingdom.
Throughout history, we can see the buildup of humanity in very similar ways. Societies that had never interacted with each other seemed to form communities the same, built rules and put them in place to take care of each other and thrive. Bartering systems, laws, morals, these are all things that are the baseline for a society. We need them, and with Anarchy, there are no laws. So what is the base of morals? How do we distinguish between right and wrong? How do we take care of our fellow man when we have no system to do so?
Now, all this being said, there are very obviously insane and intense problems with the systems we have in place right now. As a citizen of the United States, I am staunchly against what is being done in and to my country. Things need to change, a revolution NEEDS to occur. I am an activist at heart and I care deeply about my fellow man. I love humanity, I love people, I love being human. Change needs to happen, but Anarchy is not the answer.

I am open to discussion about this topic, of course! I love healthy debate and I have a very open mind to things like this. If you have your own points to make, or if you think I did not explain what I meant very well, don't be afraid to speak up.
