The tale of the Princess Kaguya is my favorite movie of ALL TIME! It's a wonderful movie, was made by STUDIO GHIBLI, released in 2013 after EIGHT YEARS of being in production!! AND I FEEL LIKE NO ONE TALKS ABOUT IT.
Now, I am bias, SOOOOOO very bias. But it drives me a little crazy that my most loved film of all time, which was released by a beloved studio, seems to have flown so under the radar, that it feels near impossible to hold a conversation about it! I go to college just for art, and not even art students Like, sure, it's not The Wind Rises.
But it's a wonderful movie that I love, and I really feel sad how I can NEVER talk about it!!

DO THAT!! It's on HBO, and Prime, and maybe YouTube if I recall correctly. I can't find the artbook anywhere, so I have the special metal case of the movie on disc to fill that massive hole in my heart until I get my grubby little hands on that book!!

Princess Kaguya is like my first ever Ghibi movie and i genuiely fell in love with it's beautiful artstyle. It reminded me so much of ink paintings with color. I haven't rlly rewatched it considering i only watched it once. And i. think it can be seen it Netflix still? i'm not to sure myself
