other genres

hi everyone! been forever since i posted, i’ve been wondering abt listening to other music while being alt. don’t get me wrong, i LOOOOVEEEE pop punk, emo, and nu metal, but i ALSO love how there are pop artists like olivia rodrigo using their platform to spread positivity and equality. but can u still be alt while listening to pop, rap, r&b or other genres?? i think yes but id love to know what u think

you can totally still be alt and listen to any genres you want!! alt just means alternative, going against the norm, so as long as you still like and listen to alternative genres youre totally fine. do what u wanna do diva

rage against the machines pretty good, you should also check out some bands like the restarts, citizen fish, wheatus, or like gorilla biscuits, methwax, and I know primer 55 is nu metal u already listen to it but if u haven't primer is decent. other genres that are also pretty good we got macseal, the taxpayers, title fight, n.e.r.d., that handsome devil, self, chumbawamba but listen to one of chumbawamba's older albums first, and I'm not big on kanye but graduation is good
