Whimsical movies

Can we bring those cozy Tv shows and movies back please?!

I feel like television is loosing their whimsy it’s always the same stick either this same pattern romance or explosion action. I want more movies that create a world, a universe I wanna be in, the rooms and places that we see shouldn’t just be a backdrop for the actors. They should be something we can immediately identify a show or movie with a vibe, an emotion, a comfort place this is why I always come back to early 2000 shows especially the Christmas movies just make me feel warm like a comfy blanket. Other examples are the craft, Sabrina the teenage witch, buffy the vampire slayer or practical magic (most of them are even before 2000 I think)

Saw "The Craft" once the month before (thx for a vhs collection someone left at the country house), great and simple movie. I think it's due to "downsizing" every media there is to show to us as consumers. Netflix and others... Every somewhat successful show had 20 episodes per season, which is a lot! But now, I dunno, watching "The Boys" rn and even this show has 8 episodes per season. Great production and everything, but you loose way more stuff down the road.
Also the cameras that were used back then, maybe we sould bring analog tech back.
