Rambling abt the new My Little Pony G6

sooo I know that there's a lot of mixed feelings going around about the new generation of mlp, especially with the mysterious disappearance of Rarity and Apple jack...(they're in a better place now.. together forever) But I wana talk about the things I'm actually really excited about!!

For one, I'm actually really loving their new designs... some people are definitely a little iffy on the very blue toned theme going on but i actually think that them having these little blue streaks in their manes really plays into the fact they'll always be connected yk, like they have matching manes that's so cute!!
I also really love the slight cutie mark changes like how the balloons on pinkie pie are now little heart shaped balloons! so cutee!! Oh oh and i like how they're sticking with the hoof designs too and how each hoof is like a different style for each pony.

I'm so exited to see how the story is going to play out, i know its not gonna be like a continuation or take place in the same universe or something as g4 so I'm super curious to see how they're gonna take the classic characters and make things fresh and interesting again. i guess its probably a little easier to just start with something completely new so they don't have to worry about keeping any lore and stuff true to g4 like what they tried to do with g5, and g5 had a good amount of plot holes which ruined it even more. I heard its gonna be a Youtube series with like pretty short episodes so that's kind of a bummer, there's not much for them to work with :[

I'm also really curious of how they might market it, like with toys and stuff. The toys can really make or break this whole thing, hopefully it wont be like g5.... the g5 toys were just so unappealing, totally missed potential. I hope that if the new toys are like, brushables, theyll have the better Nylon hair like in the early g4 toys that were better for styling and maintaining, unlike with the later g4 toys with the polypropylene bs.

Whatever whatever this is getting too long, point is, aside from the obvious downsides of mlp g6 im still super duper excited to see what becomes of it! mlp4ever
