Female artists and why I listen to them more

As a guy, I've always notice that when it comes to music tastes, I listen to more female artists than male artists in general. I have a broad music library of likes and love every one of them regardless of their gender or sex, but I've always been fond of female artists for some reason.

There's not a really simple reason why other than, they are just better artists? I mean, a female artist connects more to me than male ones for the fact that the female voice is just beautiful and pure. A mezzo-soprano melody of beauty.

I sometimes don't like to point it out to other men since part of me thinks that they'll perceive me as less of a man to begin with. Another part simply just doesn't give a fuck at all what others think. Maybe I should listen to the latter instead.

Anyway, Edith Piaf is awesome :D.
