BioWare :(

I was going to make a post in Gamings fans on this, but this shutdown has made me sad for a reason I can't really explain. BioWare is shutting down; I have never really been one of those people who gets upset at a company shutting down.

But there is just something in this news that deeply upset me. I didn't have the greatest childhood; there's nothing to do to change that, but there was always a BioWare game to take my mind off it, even now. I once more find myself looking to a BioWare game to take my mind off things going on in my life.

Dragon Age Origins still to this day is a very comforting game to me. I love the world of the Dragon Age games. Sure, the newest installment wasn't great, but it was something. People can blame that Dragon Age game for all they want, but the EA buyout is the reason for BioWare shutting down, but there is nothing to be done on it now.

Mass Effect was a game series I just recently started to play. It's just so upsetting that Mass Effect 5 will most likely be shelved and never see release. And now both Dragon Age and Mass Effect will be abandoned by EA like so many other games before them.
