ranting about motivation

Being able to blast music out of my car is like the biggest pro when taking long drives. Like I love being able to scream at my favorite songs and not worry about much else. It helps in no small favor than other than driving, my senses are mostly designated to enjoying the music. Recently I've felt too busy to really begin things. Pretty much the entirety of June was me repeating "I should start that show/movie/album" in my head while I either took a nap or doomscrolled on Twitter for the rest of the day. I think that's part of why I find just sitting down and doing one thing so rewarding. Movies for an example, I get better enjoyment physically going to a movie theater than just sitting down on my bed and playing a movie off streaming. When I saw Supergirl in theaters I thought it was mid as all hell but thinking back on it I really just had fun getting to go see something in theaters and not worry about anything else. The movie didn't meet up to my own expectations but if it wasn't coming out I probably would've just laid in my bed that day. I don't know I find it interesting. This website has also played a part in aiding my motivation. After a long day it feels so nice scrolling on here rather than anywhere else. Getting to see people post their passions and socializing really is the highlight of my day.

I just wanted to make this to rant about executive dysfunction and self-motivation. It's weird but changing your environment can be just what you need to begin something. Go take a walk or drive while listening to music, visit your theaters, go to local bands and concerts. I don't know just don't be a bum like me
