Pig Destroyer's Terrifyer album -- a review and reccomendation

So... pig destroyer...
Terrifyer was one of PD's earlier albums, still encompassing that grimy basement-recording sound albiet with seriously amazing mixing and this signature raw, in-your-face rage that makes prowler in the yard seem like a child describing a lollipop. It's full of catchy riffs that cut off right as you start to get used to them, the grindcore signature short songs, some of the most beautiful guitar sounds you've ever heard, and of course the towering nearly 30-min Natasha.
It's an incredibly loud album. However, they utilise moments of relative quiet that somehow manage to make your stomach DROP and feel like the earth is shattering around you (My favourite example of this is in the track Towering Flesh.)
if you've ever been heartbroken, like truly heartbroken, overattatched; this album will speak to you in ways you may never have heard before. I think this is because society encourages us to surpress and dilute our feelings of anger and rage, wheras this album displays them in full as they are. The catharsis is undeniable and barely comparable to any other albums I've personally ever heard, except for maybe Slipknot's Iowa.
The lyricisim itself is something else to mention. It's simple yet poetic, extremely expressive. The tracks tell a story, they do: one of heartbreak, attatchment, mental health, love, and the miserable anger of it all. It's not easy listening, but grindcore doesn't really try for that label now does it. Here's a few of my favourite lyrics:
"Just because i cannot crawl inside you/doesn't mean I'm not your parasite." -- Carrion Fairy
"Her lips are wet with venom/her posture serpantine/she'll touch my arms and flowers grow there, poisionous and obscene" -- Towering Flesh
"If I drowned... sunk to the bottom of the sea/she would notice that I'm missing/but she wouldn't care enough to come and search for me." -- The Cutting Room
"She used to be so radiant/so sexy when she'd laugh/but now her eyes are like gravestones/as she speaks in epitaphs."
My favourite songs on this album are the cutting room, crippled horses, towering flesh, carrion fairy, blurface, and of course, Natasha.
