im so inlove it’s crazy there’s this brilliant being that sits behind me and it’s actually such a nice change in pace because i’ve been surrounded by fools since the middle ages and so to have someone so capable and observant and within range is wonderful, really..
they’re the type to explain something to you because it’s a topic they genuinely understand and want to help others discover the joy of any mundane topic like electron configuration or analyzation of a book we’re supposed to be covering, with such insightful interpretations and gateways to a new perspective. it’s really amazing how capable a person can be when driven by passion; it’s not just the ease in understanding but the eagerness to learn, so much so that they aren’t distracted by anything, anything at all in their pursuit of a higher knowledge.. even if that distraction may be me
now, I suppose i have to give myself credit where credit is due; i’m not so bad myself i guess, but i’m wise enough to know that i am leagues below them and i could never actually rise to become an equal; looking into the bigger picture, we’re really on the same level, navigating life however so we may, however there’s the individual and societal expectation of competition and the normalization and idealization that every student should strive to be the best, and i am way, way lower than him on this hierarchy. from my perspective as my own individual self, anyway. everyone has their own view of the world and the people in their life; never can one person ever really understand another the way they know themselves.
