grrrr…. so i’ve been on a bit of a mind slump; i think i mentioned i was an occasional nihilist but baby i’m back and i’m HERE TO STAY 😝 anyways.
life sucks but i was on the bus today and i have a guy friend i’d say i’m rather close with; halfway through the ride i get dizzy and so i just decide to rest my head on his shoulder, and it’s GREAT because he obliges and i no longer need to throw up… anyways. we split a lil after to talk to our busmates, but a lil into the conversation after most of the heat in the convo dies down, he leans his head on my shoulder and it’s just really nice and calming and for once in a while i don’t completely hate everything 😌 i tell him to lift his head a lil so i can put an arm around him and play with his hair, and for a while we just talk until he has to get off at his stop
something i realized is that if anyone other than my busmates saw, they’d probably assume we’re a thing; but the REAL thing is that platonic affection is so looked down on nowadays and it’s terrible.. even being friends with the opposite gender means at least ONE person will assume one likes the other or the two are together, which is kinda wrong; i want to be able to freely show my love and affection for the people i care for, even if they’re js my friends, yk?? i have a lot to give huhuu (BUT TOO LITTLE FRIENDS TO SPREAD IT TO ARGSHSHHS.. #bigheartproblems
ugh anyways. a lot of people always assume something between two people is romantic and i think that should stop, we should have liberty to be affectionate for ppl we love! duh..
