What is down there? Where does it end? Have you ever seen the true end of a cave, I haven't. How do you know there wasn't a cave in, so old the water has welded it shut, no sign of collapse. How do you know that just a foot behind the walls surrounding you that there isn't more. Where does it end. I would explore for the rest of my life if I could and I can, it just wouldn't be for very long. I would crawl further if I could but I can't, I would choke on the dark, in the dark, filling my lungs with unknown air untouched, not for centuries, untouched, period. I would wade through miles of inky blackness if it meant I would find the end. But even then, how would I know? I would if I could I would if it meant I would die I need to know. I would die if it meant I would find the end, curled up at the end can't go forward, can't go back, alone, choking on darkness.
