As someone who has a small collection and with a mum with a much bigger collection, I have some recs! First off, for like regular old watches, like cheap ones, you can get them at most large retail stores, and most thrift stores - stores like TK maxx won't have anything special but they'll have things that look nice, and are relatively cheap. I got a watch for formal wear from them abt a year ago, it's simple, cute and fits me well and it was like 5 quid yk? But if u want like a properly nice watch there are a few companies u can look at! I Love love love mr jones watches cus their designs are so so cool and fun and unique I love them!! I got one of their watches for my birthday, but their watches can definitely be up there price-wise - like i dont think any of theirs is less than £100. Another brand I like is fossil, because they also have some rlly nice designs - not as whimsical as mr jones, but sturdy and they look good, and they have some rlly nice mechanicals, and I got one on sale when I visited LA a few years back, for like $60 which is pretty decent given the brand's more on the upscale end. I also always see watches at the airport, and they have a fairly solid price range. I don't own any swatch watches but I've taken a look at some of their designs that look really fun and their prices start from abt £50 which isn't too bad. if ur just getting into watches mb don't go breaking the bank on smth rlly fancy, but smth rlly cheap won't last all that long - but rlly u can like look around malls and such and try and pick em out in person so u can get a sense for how it'd feel on ur wrist, yk? I hope u find one u like!
