Hi! I've been considering trying out using vocaloid with a future intention to use it to voice an original character if I can figure it out and like it. I would preferably want to use NurseRobot_TypeT since that Vocaloid can sing in english and also I just like how the voice sounds.
I was looking at the character guidelines for that voicebank and noticed that it says "Regarding the use of UTAU voicebanks" (which it defines as referring to the "UTAU libraries" distributed on this website", "this website" being krnr.top) that it's prohibited to use "as someone else's voice, such as for voicing original characters". That sounds like the end of it, but scrolling down, with specifically the "use of VOCALOID speech synthesis libraries" there is no mention of it's use for original characters. There's also three talking programs that NurseRobot_TypeT in it that directly allow for the voicebank voicing original characters. The inconsistency of if NurseRobot_TypeT is allowed to voice original characters is confusing me, which is why I'm posting this. Is the voice still considered an UTAU if it can be bought+downloaded from the VOCALOID website? Apologies if I sound ignorant. I'm new to stuff like this and I want to make sure I don't break any rules.
