Rn for back to school I convinced my mom to let me burn my own dvds and cds and I also just learned that my local library has a section with dvds and blue-rays which is really cool :D
Yeah!! Libraries are great for finding physical media. Some fancier ones might offer services to convert physical media into MP3/MP4 formats too! Definitely helpful for your mum if she has old VHS tapes lying around, provided your library offers those services.
As long as you don't damage them, I don't think there's anything stopping you from copying the data from those CDs, either. Do check with a librarian, though. Hopefully, you'll be able to get free music from it.
