it seems the activity on this site is growing, with myself just getting here roughly 24 hours ago. im happy to see that, as i think this is 100% a place to save. however i do wonder if this might unfortunately be a short term win for the site, because in this age its rare to see a large number of people stick with something for long. hope that the numbers stay consistent and the community grows positively. i wonder if its possible to go back to a simple and healthy social setting online anymore with how much the average persons brain and dopamine reception has been altered by modern entertainment and internet.
what are your opinions?

I absolutely agree that these days, people pop on and off so quickly about trends like they constantly need new ways to get entertained, it makes you feel like you have to quickly join the trend or you'll be missing out and that can be exhausting
From what I saw a lot of people here are tired of current social medias and that's why they joined, of course we can't predict the future but I hope the website will survive for a while

yeah, i have hope because it seems everyone here wants the same thing, we all desire this sort of social media over the modern ones, so i hope that out of the genuine desire itll last because there will always be at least a small amount of people who want this

I think this site would do so well if it just had more exposure, there's definitely demand for something like this. The best chance it has at the minute is more coverage on other social media, the one popular video was great but a few more of them could totally secure a future for this site.

yeah i think word of mouth is also important though. everyone on the site should be telling other people they know irl about how cool it is. honestly i hope it stays a little niche so its not another thing that blows up and then dies out just as fast. but i want it to stay active at the same time, so i feel like im asking for too much with how specific i think it should be

It's true that if it got really popular then it wouldn't retain most of the new users, but I bet a good number of them would stick around, people just need to know it's out there

yeah thats true. i worry the friendliness might change if a bunch more people come flooding in from from instagram and tiktok and stuff. but i probably dont need to worry because the website attracts a certain type of person and it seems its the friendly chill ones who want a community like this
