How much do you want to integrate physical media into your life? Do you want it to be more popular overall? What things, if any, do you think should be replaced/mostly replaced by physical media? Any stuff you want to keep digital?

Personally, my ideal car would have a CD player. I think I would mess with playlists by skipping songs and stuff while driving. Pretty bad distraction. With CDs, I've already curated the playlist. Having less flexibility would force me to skip less and focus on driving more.

That said, I'm a fan of bluetooth speakers. I know most chunky radios come with okay-ish to good speakers and might come with CD/cassette player integration, but I don't want to haul a big speaker around. Bluetooth speakers are so handy.

I don't want bluetooth forced into everything, though. Don't charge me for something I don't want or need. From what I've experienced, modern devices think that quantity is better. It's kind of hard to escape unwanted features and then be charged more for it ಠ_ಠ

Oooh, that's a good question! I'd love to be able to have all of my favorite movies as DVDs- just the ones I really liked, you know? That way I'm not stressing over streaming services and if a new movie comes out that I like I can just buy it on DVD once I've got a good collection going. I DO have a CD player in my car (she's a 2013) and I can confirm it IS nice to not have to worry about what songs playing, although switching out CDs on a longer drive was a process the first few times for me lol T_T
I agree about Bluetooth! I have bluetooth headphones for my PC and not having to worry about a cord + being able to grab stuff while talking/listening in VC is nice.
Ooh, yes, DVDs too!! I hate how everything is on a separate streaming service nowadays. I want to be able to purchase a movie and keep it.

Switching CDs would be a challenge, oof. I didn't think of that.

Personally, I like having corded headphones, but it is certainly very useful to have the option. I like corded ones because they won't run out of charge on long calls. It's definitely nice to be able to move around on call, though. For speakers, I don't use them for long periods of time, so I don't mind them being cordless as much.
I agree with your take on CD players; they should be the norm for cars once more; no car should have a big screen like some modern cars do. But sometimes even with CDs I find myself skipping through the whole thing, so it is also nice to have music on my phone. Bluetooth is also enjoyable; just moving around while having your music playing clear and loud in your ears while on a walk is unbeatable.

But I do understand why things like records and cassettes were phased out of being the main form for music. Both are very sensitive mediums. That is the one thing digital is good at; you don't have to worry about anything happening to your albums on digital because they can't be harmed in ways physical media can. I wish that records couldn't be damaged as easily compared to other media because they would be my main form to listen to music on.
It is true that digital media lasts a lot longer. Honestly, if we just switched to actually owning what we pay for, I'd be a lot happier. I feel like the only way to own what I buy is to have it physically. Subscription services are low-key killing the ability to own anything.
In my case, one of the main motivations for switching to mostly CDs in my car (+ Bandcamp instead of streaming services) was to be more intentional with my listening. I had been listening to the same stuff for years, my music discovery had completely stagnated, I was bored. Putting on a CD requires me to actually think about what I want to listen to, instead of mindlessly hitting shuffle on the same playlist every day. I also want to own my favorite music, because you'll never know when your favorite artist(s) will pull their songs from streaming one day (and that's definitely been happening more amongst 'small' artists I listen to). But also because I like CDs a lot, and the ability to hold my favorite music physically in my hand in a great feeling. If you have a good stereo system, the audio quality is unbeatable as well.
