OC QOTD: What are/were your OC's favourite and least favourite subjects in school, or any other kind of formal education they received (training, mentors, etc.)? If your OC never attended anything formal, what other "subjects" would they consider their favourite?

I will have to wait to post my reply to this. It's nice to hear what people OCs love to learn about most!

These are all for the protags of Dandelion Sun.

Renee: Favourite overall is probably H.P.E.. Well, the practical stuff specifically. She doesn't enjoy the theory. She also loves when drama classes incorporate dance, but really dislikes the acting part. She's not a good actress. Least favourite is maths.

Lucas: Despite really struggling with it, he enjoys science! Physics specifically is his favourite because he can relate it to his favourite franchise, Super Space Sailor. H.P.E. is the easiest for him. He hates home economics.

Ally: Favourite would be music! She plays the trumpet, so y'know. She likes geography too, but she's really good at school in general. That said, her least favourite is Spanish.

Mary-Anne: Favourite is art by far. Very picky about what she likes to play, but usually enjoys drama. Least favourite would be H.P.E. because she's underweight.

Lola: Favourites are history and home economics. She's really looking forward to learning about the bubonic plague. While she's good at cooking, she's become more interested in the sewing. Least favourites is art.

Jack: His favourites would be drama and music if he didn't have immense social anxiety, so his real favourite is maths. Least favourite is H.P.E. because it's the prime environment to be bullied as an unathletic boy.

oooh let's see (these r my dnd ocs btw ive yet to properly introduce them here I'll get to that later sorryyy TwT)
Florian: english, specifically the creative writing and journalism aspects. he loves a good story, especially gossip. Besides that, probably history.(and yes, he went to regular school, he was classmates and friends with danaus).
Danaus: Drama, probably. he loves playing fun characters and charming people so loves those sort of roles.
Sorielle: She went to regular school at first and then later to a military academy, but she's always liked strategy and maps, so geography and strategy were her favourite subjects.
Ooh, nice!! Why did Sorielle go to a military academy? How did she cope with the change in education?

What is education like in this world? What time period is it set in?
ooooh very nice questions! She's the daughter of a noble family, and the military is a pretty common career route in her family - given her family's nobility, they tend to go straight to positions of leadership, and she likes having power, so wanted to join the navy (specifically). To flesh out the world its your typical dnd setting, i rlly should work on it more, but current geopolitics wise there is no major conflict going on, she just likes the opportunity to have power and control and the navy is an easy opportunity for her to get it. Education in this world i think would vary location to location, danaus and Florian, in my head, went to a more modern vibes high school? i rlly need to actually flesh this world out TwT Im gonna go w saying school is the sort of thing that costs money (no public systems) so Florian and Danaus, being pretty upper middle class, recieved an education up to high school - higher education is more of like an intensive research academia thing, so neither pursue as having high school qualifications is in and of itself significant and all they really needed for their careers (journalism)
Sorielle like i mentioned being wealthier and noble had the opportunity to go to that military school - specifically for nobility going into leadership roles. I decided like 90% of this just now but thats why thse questions are fun! I get to make more lore!
