has anyone ever recorded albums onto cassettes (in a 100% super legal way) because im thinking of doing it because it seems pretty easy on paper but im wondering if its as easy and it sounds ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค
I can try to help, but with peace and love, cassettes are a little harder to get things onto. Keep in mind that cassettes can be wiped clean by a strong magnet so be careful of this!
First you are going to need a cassette recorder and an RCA to aux cable. Then connect a phone or computer to the cassette player, and plug the RCA into the back of the cassette player. Get the music ready that you want on the tape. Then you are going to hit both play and record on the player.
But make sure that the cassette isn't recording protected; if it is, it will have two little tabs on the top. You can't use the cassette to record if it has these. Then adjust the volume of the tape on both the player and on your computer. Then, when the song ends, just stop the tape.
It has been a while since I have done this so sorry if this guide is not helpful!
