Gar in The Lounge

I joined last night, but I was too tired to say anything, so I might as well introduce myself now.
Hello, I'm Garuma, but please just call me Gar.
I like anime, video games, and Vtubers.
If you enjoy Devil May Cry, we're friends, you don't get a choice. (You do, but say yes please.) Also, if you like fighting games like Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Under Night In-Birth, Street Fighter, Melty Blood, etc., then feel free to ask to play a set or two. I'm still learning, but I'm always looking for new people to play with! (Assuming I'm not busy at the time)

Ohhh. Well, if you ever end up wanting someone to play with just to mess around and have fun, I'd be glad to do so! Also, I'm a Johnny main. I just think he's cool.

yo i like street fighter a lot. mostly the older ones like third strike, i did play a bit of SF5 and i think the demo of 6, but i like the older ones a littme more.

and guilty gear looks really cool. i like the character design a lot so i want to get into it, but idk anything about it yet.

who do you main in street fighter and which game is your favorite?

I play 3rd Strike and SF6. And I main Ken in 3rd Strike, and Jamie in SF6. So far I've only played those two, but out of them, I LOVE 3rd Strike. It's got a certain charm to it. Plus I just like the parrying system better than the one in SF6.

Also! If you do try out Guilty Gear, I'd be be glad to play a set or two against you! Same goes for 3rd Strike, if you want!

sweeeeet! what controls do you use? im assuming you play on pc, do you use keyboard, handheld controller, or like a fight pad meant for arcade fighting games?

I couldn't reply to the other message, so I'm replying here. I use an arcade stick. I think it's called the Qanba Carbon 2,or something? And yeah, I'm on PC. I use Classic, coz I just prefer motion inputs. I got into fighting games somewhat recently, like during quarantine, but coz motion inputs are what I learned with, I'm used to them. Modern controls are a bit wonky for me. Also! Sorry for the late reply as well!! I haven't been on here for a day or two, is all.

another vtuber fan!!! who do you watch? when i first started i was huge into holostars jp but now since i watch more casually i watch more en indies…
Report

I started out by watching indies myself, and I still mostly watch indies nowadays. I do watch Hololive, though! The only one in Holostars I watch is Flayon, because he plays fighting games. But I love Mio, Fubuki, Ayame, and Biboo. Biboo is my Kami Oshi, she's very silly!
