What would you guys want in the blogs? What would make you actually want to use the blog function? I know this is just The Lounge, but I hope brainstorming ideas in a large group like this will catch the staff's eye. This could be a good opportunity to get some features we'd actually use, so we can make the most of the features already here.
Personally, I think being able to upload multiple images to blogs would be super cool. Inline images as well! I'd love to be able to add pictures to the side of my paragraphs or little decome emotes in my text. We could use this to add cute dividers, headers, and whatnot.
If that isn't possible, just having the opportunity to change text colours would be really neat. I'm unsure how difficult it would be to add entirely custom colours, but even a default set would be nice.
I truly think the blogging function here could be so popular if it just had more stuff. Right now, posts are the most eye-catching things. For me, I'm discouraged to blog when I know I'll get more interaction on posts.

Would being able to limit engagement help? I do know we can toggle who sees blogs and if anyone can comment, but would further control be appealing?
additionally it would be cool to have an optional notification on updated blogs just so if someone adds on to their blog the audience can know rather than them having to go through for updates each time
While it's true that posts are seen and read and interacted with more often, I really enjoy reading longer blog posts (It's a personal ick of mine when blog posts are written like the average post).
Perhaps people would actively read blog posts if there was a side bar showing the newest ones?? The blogs feauture isn't very loud about it's presence, and most people probably dont think to check blogs first upon opening the website.
I really like blogging and it's fun to ramble!! I hope more people try writing a bit too :D
