Necromorph Regenerator from dead space. It was made by implanting necromorph tissue straight into brain of a living person that way gaining regeneration of it self to the point only way to stop it is to freeze it or burn it to the point where there's nothing to regenerate anymore
can never go wrong with a vampire or a werewolf (much angst potential...) but also sirens... sirens are so awesome.. i love the ocean (honorable mention to leshy also. i like that guy)
I like the Revenant. The concept of the returned dead always comes with a caveat in storytelling (Vampires are afflicted with bloodthirst, Zombies are desiccated, Liches give up pieces of themselves the longer they remain, etc.), and the revenant is no different. In this case however, the sacrifice is made of the individual's freedom. They return endlessly, but only for so long as they adhere to some form of mission or goal, usually vengeance against some grievous wrongdoing that befell them in life. A good example of a revenant's story would be the The Crow (James O'Barr's 1989 comic or the 1994 film starring Brandon Lee). It just has all the pieces, the unstoppability of an undead, the aesthetic of a human with something off about them, the whole vengeance/justice plotline of a ghost, all tied neatly into some historical lore!
I gotta say werewolves in general! But another favourite monster would be Frankenstein's monster, not because of its general stereotypical appearance you see in popular culture, more so the character itself, how its portayed, its experience of being rejected from society and so on.
That's the best I can say on which one's my favourite
