Are you afraid of reaching out to people?
Obviously you’ll lose touch with people naturally, but I feel like people are also bad at reaching out, even if they care.
I’m very frustrated that people I thought I was close with suddenly disappear because of distance.
One friend even expressed that they do care, but they just don’t reach out. Which annoyed me to no end.
Please reach out to people you care about :(

I wouldn't say I'm afraid as often as I feel guilty. Sure, there are times when I do get anxious, especially if I just forgot to respond for a while. Most of the time, though, I just feel bad for leaving people hanging. It is something I am working on improving.
I won't defend your friends who don't communicate because it is a flaw. I won't defend myself either. If you tell them you are upset, or worried, or angry, or whatever else, then it's on them to respond. As you said, people naturally lose touch, but it is shitty to just ghost others.
It's a bad habit, I just overthink sometimes about how the person I'm reaching out to will respond, I want to reach out more often, it's just me being bad at communication sometimes, it sucks.
I shared some insensitive info which I won't explain, to someone I thought I can trust, but told it to everyone.
Because of that, I've been cautious on who to talk too.
But on a honest note, I'm quite open to whoever I trust, either parent, friend, therapist, or family.
But don't worry, I'm fine, the insensitive info that've been told to everyone doesn't give a damn. So, I'm on the safe side for now.
PSA from me:
Please be careful which personal experience you tell to anyone.
