ooo sounds yummy tyy!
Aaa that sounds amazingg
I'm still messing around with this one. But classic red beans and rice.

For a "quick" last minute meal
- Put a pack of red beans. Do a 1lbs pack, not canned.
- Put in a pot, fill water just an inch or two above the beans,
- Bring to a boil, turn off, let soak for 1 hour.
- After the hour, drain any water that may be left.
* Instead of doing that ^, you can always let them soak in water over night. 24 hours at least. *

- Refill water about 2ish inches above beans. (lmk if that makes sense)
- Bring to a boil once more.
- Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder (I like to also add powdered chicken bouillon) (How ever much your heart desires)
- Let cook until beans get soft. About 1, 1 1/2, 2 hours.
*Also I wouldn't cover it, it always over boils on me :(*

- Get some sort of sausage, we usually use some sort of Brats, but I haven't been liking it lately. Find some sort of Cajun sausage, or just whatever sausage you like.
- Add that in maybeee the last 15ish minutes.

Serve with rice!
THEN BOOM classic easy meal. Really filling, amazing as left overs. :P
I don't cook or bake that much but I'm known for my chocolate chip cookies, but I also make brownies! As for savory foods I'm usually in charge of mashed potatoes and I make a pretty good one if I do say so myself! I'm not a gate keeper lmk if you're looking for a cookie recipe!
Curry egg & lettuce sandwiches.
They're perfect!
I’ve never heard of that ty
i had a phase last year where if i didn't know whwat to eat, i would make grilled cheese!! you put mayo on the bread so it toasts better (i dont like mayo but you don't taste it so i was okay with it!! and it does toast better) on the pan, and either on top or inside i would add minced garlic :)) i love cooking and baking!! i think its so strange that some people just dont do it or even like it...
I’m lowkey one of those people 😭

But maybe it’s cuz I’m too tired to do it most of the time ksjfjgj

If life wasn’t so hard I’d be cooking up beef wellingtons bro
well my "specialization" are salads(and chocolate chip cookies ofc).
But not just any salads. The good ones.
You can add the ingridients in whatever proportions you want. Its up to you to decide.
So here is the list of ingridients for one of my favorite salads:
- Canned corn
- Chiken Meat(i use smoked meat but i think different kinds of meat cooked in a different way will work too)/crab sticks
- Napa cabbage(regular one works as well, but this one suits better)
- croutons (you can substitude em for chips. the croutons im talking about are the "snacks" ones. its hard to explain... But i use the Flint ones. You might not have them in your country tho, but if you goole them ill be able to find smth like them where you live)
- and ofc mayonaise
Cut all of the ingridients that need that and then mix everything together. Trust me, its really good!
omg my stomach rumbled i LOVE a good chicken salad
garlic fried rice because it's easy. honorable mentions: pad kaprao and mac 'n' cheese. reading the comments made me HUNGRY
anything experimental, from eating marshmallow in pepperoni pizza, to changing an ingredient from a pre-existent recipe to see if it works, to having a base of what to do and freestyling. or just trying anything new, which also could enter the "experimental" globe :D
i saw someone else say it but any kind of egg fried rice... super fast to cook and tastes so good for the energy u put into it which is like nothing if ur lazy like me ( ̄y▽, ̄)╭ such a perfect base to throw leftover meat and veggies in as well for easy protein
Simple but effective!
oo it really depends which meal and occasion (I really like cooking if you couldn't tell already)
Breakfast, for example: Leaky scrambled eggs in whichever form you make them (like those japanese folded ones, french fluffy ones, etc) and home made bread (but a very specific soft bread). Ofc this is for SPECIAL occasions when I feel like planning a breakfast 3 days ahead
As for advice on cooking, ngl just try out recipes! There are numerous ones online, and once you know a good base you can create however many new recipes you want! Have fun, that's the most important thing
