omgg fellow percussionist !! Do you have any instrument preferences? Like for me I play marching bass but hate playing snare for concert stuff, I also love playing Vibraphone :P
omg thats so cool!!! I march bass drum (my favorite) then for concert season i really dont care what i play BUT depending on the piece bells and marimba are the bane of my existence...vibe is actually pretty cool tho i dont get to play it much lol :]
I was a classical pianist for the majority of my life!! I stopped like a year or so ago simply because I got so bored of it LMAO, I wasn't allowed to play a lot of other music genres on the piano growing up too (I was told it would hinder my learning.. whatever that means :P). I decided to js pick up the guitar and start learning, I'm still kind of intermediate, only been playing since 2025 September. I'm hoping to eventually write some songs once I have enough confidence on the guitar
Lol I understand getting bored, but I'm too deep in percussion rn to quit so I'm learning cello instead lol. Guitar is really cool I hope that goes well for you :-]
