Today marks the biggest milestone in our platform's history. We have officially rebranded, migrated to a reliable server, launched some QOL updates, and brought the Flash Arcade directly into the social platform.

Here is what's new:
New Domain & Name: We rebranded to Kwenk! While quenq.com remains our web archive, kwenk.com is now the official home for our social network.

Also you can now play thousands of classic Flash games directly on Kwenk on the Arcade page. Give props, leave comments, and share reviews on your favorite games. (Games aren’t supported on mobile devices, sorry)

Ads are disabled temporarily. We are exploring better ways to keep the platform independent and free forever. Such as optional community merch.

To ensure the long-term stability and legal protection of our platform, Kwenk is now legally operated under Quenq LLC (registered in New Mexico, USA). We have updated our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to reflect our commitment to user privacy, compliance, and data sovereignty.

Hey everyone, here is a quick update on some changes made to the platform over the last few days based directly on your feedback (and thanks to katbug3131)!

Visuals & Branding
- We changed the official written name to My Quenq, but the logo remains lowercase "my quenq" to keep its original visual symmetry.
- The old static umbrella logo is gone. The new globe icon represents the connected network of personal web spaces. Unlike before, the logo is now fully dynamic and automatically changes color to match your active profile theme or customization.

Quality of Life
- You can now see the exact date and time on all blog posts.
- Direct message histories are now wrapped inside a clean scroll-box that automatically snaps to the bottom so you can see the latest message instantly.

Hosting & Ads
- At the moment we do not accept donations, so we are testing if we can cover our server costs with this minimal sidebar ad (on the homepage).
- We are preparing to migrate the entire platform to a dedicated server by the end of the month to keep the site fast and stable. The server will be temporarily paused during the migration, so the site will be temporarily inaccessible for a brief window during that transition.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the new people who joined recently and started posting and fixing up their profiles. The vibe has been really nice to see.

And huge shoutout to mynameswaffle tho. Dude is genuinely such a good person. He made that reel for free and brought in a ton of you guys. Waffle, thank you so much man, you really helped keep this place alive.

Because of all the new activity, we've decided not to shut down. my quenq is staying up! Unlike Spacehey which is invite only, we're keeping it open for everyone. If things keep growing like this, by the end of the month we're planning to move to better servers and get the site properly registered. There might be a short maintenance break while we do that, so join our Discord if you want updates.
For now theres no need for donations or anything. Your support and just being active here is more than enough. We're just getting started again :)

Hey everyone, quick heads up about my quenq.

We've been thinking about this for a while. my quenq isnt seeing much activity. A lot of people signed up which was great, but then most just ghosted the platform.

We cant keep paying the high hosting costs for something thats mostly empty, so we are probably going to shut it down soon.

The main quenq.com with the games and stuff will stay up. But this social community, my quenq is the one we are planning to close.

It was built as a fork of bliish.space (a similar platform) so your profiles and custom skins should work there with no problem. Just go to https://bliish.space register and copy your stuff over.

This decision is not final yet. If we see real activity soon we may keep it running. But if nothing changes we will shut down this community within a month and all the profiles will be automatically deleted.
