is it normal that i'm falling so badly for a character that i feel overprotective over them..
it was Astarion at first and i had already grown used to it but um now i'm feeling the same thing with Matt Murdock (yes. Marvel's Daredevil.) and uh it's like romantic at the same time it's platonic like genuine care but ITS A CHARACTER I BARELY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT GOD DAMNIT GGRAAAAAAHHH

i've imaginated what it would be like if i were in other universes and how my relationships would be in those, of course, but it's NEVER such an intense feeling as it is with Astarion and/or(??) Daredevil. im genuinely scared that it might affect my irl relationships, especially now that i just started thinking about dating again.. anyone has any tips on how to not get attached enough for that to happen?

do ppl ever get like kinda jelly when your f/o has been shipped with another ingame character that you.. sorta don't like??

Happened to me a lot with SoulBasket, i genuiely hate the ship cuz it kinda waters down Bassie's personality and islightly dislike her cux of how much she relates to the part i hate of myself... but maybe also because im a Soul yume...

follow up on my post about my UTDR sona i ship w mettaton from earlier.. he hassome basic traits and personality worded down now LOLLL

She is a monster who lives in snowdin with a sibling, he's energetic and impulsive

She likes fashion, creating things and the old toys and tech she finds in the waterfall dump (and mettaton)

He's a very maximalist and a little out there kind of person, tends to care heavily for aesthetics and can prioritise them over things like comfort or convenience. Will save little things like tags or packaging in hopes he could "Do something with it", everything he owns is either covered in stickers or decorated in the things he saves.

She's usually confident in himself and chooses to do what she does because he loves it, while he tries to be a laid back and positive presence he is also quick to be annoyed over something even quite small, but really it's never that serious. Kind of an anxious overthinking wreck. strange and unusual.

From what i know yumeshipping is self shipping yourself/a sona that represents you with the canon character of a piece of media.

What i wanted to know is if the yumeship tag falls onto otome game love interest ships? These characters are made for you to think of as "your" boyfriend (like Love and Deepspace), the MC is supposed to be you, logic says to me that yes, but i wanted to ask the experts-

(also i know of people that make an oc to be the MC in their place and that said character isn't them, this i think doesn't fall in yumeshipping yes?)

Oomfie drew my oc aaa, the original drawing is the little floating head that I did and they turned her into a full character sheet (feat her girlfriend)
We where joking about how she looks like a vegetable so i'm wondering if her name should be a vegetable one or if I go classic and call her Midori
