What art advice helped you the most?

Here’s some off the top of my head:
- Don’t spend too much time stressing over the details
- Draw for yourself, not anyone else
- Take breaks
- Don’t compare yourself to other artists

Hiii so I did a remake of the demiaroace flag and greyaroace flag because I feel like the current ones and any other flags that popped up didn't work well and I'm currently debating whether I'm greyaroace or demiaroace, so I tried to make these flags more true to the aroace flag rather than the aro and ace siblings because just slapping on blue doesn't feel right. There are two main bright colors in the aroace flag, unlike the aro and ace. So, adding the orange, blue and yellow just seemed right and I tried following the pattern with which demi aro/ace and grey aro/ace flags were made. Thoughts? Should I post this anywhere else lol idk Just would like some feedback ┐⁠(⁠ ⁠∵⁠ ⁠)⁠┌

Here’s a fun art challenge I came up with:
Combine 2 animals to create a hybrid like the animals in ATLA (did u know Appa is inspired by bison + manatee). If u want an extra challenge, use a random animal generator. Here’s my polar rat!

I did this as part of a final project about a year ago. Not the greatest piece ever, but decent enough considering it was due around the same time exams started beating tf out of me. It's supposed to be a fake pulp-fiction novel cover.

Anyways, don't really know what to do with it now except throw it out into the void...
