Since Ori's complaining about driving, I would also like to start complaining about cars. What's your stance on modern car design? I have strong opinions on modern car culture and a particular unnamed retro model of volvo that I'm considering divulging in a blog post.

Getting really into the guy who sang the Franklin theme song. I'll leave his name out of this post for dramatic/comedic effect, but if you don't know him his name is pronounced CO-BURN, and not how it's spelt. Took me an embarrassingly long time to figure that out. He has a great career of activism too, which is pretty cool. I've been listening to the Waiting For A Miracle album. :)

Beee!

I found a bumblebee near my porch. It was pretty chilly when I found it, and it wasn't moving much, so I assumed it was feeling sluggish because of the cold. I grabbed a couple drops of honey and shmeared them across the wood (see photo) and the bee started eating. >:)

I've heard bees are pretty smart, sometimes able to recognize people, they play, etc, so I held out my hand for a few minutes to see if the bee would do anything + to shield it from the wind, and it very slowly CLIMBED ONTO MY HAND!!!!! Dude kinda just sat there for a while, but eventually started to move around a little more. At one point it crawled onto the side of my hand, and couldn't hold on and kinda fell down/ bounced down my steps 😬 (this happened multiple times because I was too afraid to move while the bee was on me, and the bee... Might low-key have lost brain cells in the cold (ᵕ—ᴗ—))

Anyway, when I lowered my hand again for the bee to climb back on, they did kinda the frozen-bee equivalent of a sprint, so I'm pretty sure it was intentionally warming itself in my hand.

Eventually it flew off, so.... successful bee rescue? I didn't include any photos of the bee in my hand, because I don't really want photos of my hand floating around, but have faith I held a bee for about 40 minutes.

I might genuinely be the most useless person on earth. I just broke down crying during a job interview T-T

Y'all, am I cooked or do you think I can still get it?

Raaahhhhh Someone threw out a perfectly good 31.5" TV when I was moving into my apartment!!! This is so nostalgic for me because my family had a Viera (albeit a much larger one) when I was growing up. It takes both HDMI and VGA, so I can use it with both my laptops without using 10000 adaptors. >:)

... Is it lame that i'm mostly excited to use it as an extra monitor for practice problems? T-T

Idk Mother Mother was pretty cool. Never been to a concert before but I'm realllllyyyy glad I took general internet advice and brought earplugs.

I did this as part of a final project about a year ago. Not the greatest piece ever, but decent enough considering it was due around the same time exams started beating tf out of me. It's supposed to be a fake pulp-fiction novel cover.

Anyways, don't really know what to do with it now except throw it out into the void...

Considering making some stamps to add designs to some of the squares, or another horizontal band of the dark blue denim around the base of the one strap-loop thingy. Advice is welcome though, I'm not done yet.
