my bloody valentine - When You Sleep and Only Shallow
Lush - De-luxe and Nothing Natural
Slowdive - When the Sun Hits and Souvlaki Space Station
Ride - Taste
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Just Like Honey
Curve - Already Yours
Sweet Trip - Chocolate Matter and Fruitcake and Cookies (mix of IDM and shoegaze)
Soda Stereo - Toma la Ruta and Luna Roja (spanish shoegaze :eyes:)
Chapterhouse - Pearl
Drop Nineteens - Kick the Tragedy
Ringo Deathstarr - Summertime and I Don't Want to Lose This
Catherine Wheel - Crank
Candy Claws - Pangaea Girls (Magic Feeling)
LSD and the Search for God - Starting Over
Pinkshinyultrablast - Holy Forest
Silversun Pickups - Lazy Eye
Sorry abt the info dump, but these are a few bands I've liked (and there are SO MANY more I need to get into still...), btw, I think a lot of people agree that my bloody valentine, slowdive, ride, lush are good examples of classic shoegaze so they're good to start with ^^ happy listening!
- The song Anemone by The Brian Jonestown Massacre is really good. I think the lead musician might not be a great person, though, so be warned if that is something you want to avoid.
- Catcher by High (stylised as high.) is another great one. I think they're a pretty small band.
- Tugboat by Galaxie 500
Hope these are good additions!! It's nice to see fellow shoegaze fans here (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
imma be honest ive not heard of those musik genres but i think you would like Jessie Mazin OHHH Waittttt ORRR MILA SMITH YESSSSSSSS. listen to The adults ae talking!!! and CAKE!! SUCH GOOD ALT ROCK!!
I've been listening to Pushing Daisies EP by julie recently ;)
