I have no idea what you’re going thru but I promise your endurance will be worth it. I also often struggle with sticking around, I have severe mental illness and medication-resistant cognitive/social issues that make the days very difficult. What keeps me going personally is the thought that “angels show up in the strangest of places.” (Angels as a metaphor for anything or anyone that makes your life better.) I stick around to find my angels. And I do, sometimes. Not often, but sometimes. The more you choose to look for angels, the more you’ll find and the world becomes at least somewhat nicer. I also like to think of quantum physics — ones tiniest action can shake a star across the universe. You matter a LOT, scientifically speaking. But that’s just what I do for me. I hope you know you are not unloved either, I hope everything gets a little kinder to you. Go easy on yourself you deserve to treat yourself nicely.
