do you have problem with accepting reality or does it feel like realty doesn't feel real? like reality feels like watching a movie instead of actually experiencing it.
Well the best advice I can think of is getting professional help for it but besides that you could also try doing things that stimulate senses until the feeling goes away like touch different kind of objects (hard, soft, wet, dry, round, sharp, etc.) This helped me at least during those moments but things like that won't help you in the long run so I do recommend getting help if it gets worse.
I constantly get stuck in my head and emotions that make me dissociate from myself like that too. One of my favorite ways, whenever I can, is I try to do some grounding outdoors. When I have access to a patch of grass, I’ll lay on the ground, or stand barefoot if unable to lay down, and just listen to all the sounds, noticing smells, and notice how everything feels physically, including how your body feels. I usually close my eyes while I do this but not always. If nothing else, just being outside and just setting some short time to just exist without a lot of movement or expectations and experiencing the present can anchor a person. Maybe if you are able to and willing, that could maybe be something to try. It follows a bit of what Krabbeltjes mentioned in regards to stimulating your senses. Definitely professional help is useful when possible, therapists can help with providing other techniques that can help with this sort of thing.
Uhm,I am from a different situation, but probably gonna work on you too
If you have an idealized image of yourself, make it real! Make a list of the things you like most and the things you idealize most. Think If you can do it in reality an do it :3
Honestly I am kinda going through a semi-similar situation with how my life’s been going and different situations, but I just want to let you know that I hope you get through it healthily and wish you the best in the future! ( ´・ ᵕ・)ノ(´ ᵕ `˶)
I'm guessing here when I say this, so maybe I've completely missed the experience, but if it's having a hard time exerting your will into your life and only being able to express yourself in your mind, I also struggled with that for years. My experience may come from a different source though, so it may not help unilaterally (equally for all parts of what I'm addressing). Nowadays though, I find little ways of living in a space that reminds me of me, and encourages me to go and live what's in my mind out in the world. I wake up surrounded by photos and artwork that I made or curated, and with things I bought, and that helps me get out of my head because I can see how my mind and my life can align. I make art too, so maybe this will help a fellow creative: I just take what's in my mind and act on it, even if it turns out to be garbage. So yeah, it wasn't totally about getting out of my head, but getting them to align and that's what helps me now :) I will mention that I went to therapy but I know that's not always a possibility or the right fit (Sorry if this is long)
It helps me to have something to look forward to. Like a good story or show. But I get it, even having interests in things is hard when life feels helpless. You could start with drinking water.

I guess my question was more towards the "my brain and body is disconnected" context. I live in my head, not here↓
I can't think my way out of this, but how to actually apply it
