I was listening to Young Girl A by siinamota and almost started tearing up because of the lyrics... What are some songs that make you feel like you want to cry a little?? How come (totally optional!!)??
Its not really a song i cry to but more a song i wish i could cry to (it sounds strange but I'm not the crying person that's why) is "My Love Mine All Mine by Mitski". I have been threw to many things in my life and got ripped so many things away from me that the best way i could prosses my feelings was listening to sad music and this was my go to. it symbolized what i had lost and and tried to get a hold on so badly.
Sorry about the rambling. hope i didn't bring anyone reading this down. stay well and hope everyone had a good day๐ซถ
Don't worry I'm fine. I got two little cats to take care off. I already got enough on my mind to worry about then stuff that has already happened, but thank you for your concern it is really appreciated :)
I get a little emotional listening to Sparks/Fix You by Coldplay. Those songs I just listen to whenever I'm feeling down sometimes. There are more songs that make me feel this way, but I can't think of any atm.
"The Priest And The Matador" by Senses Fail. It doesnt make me cry it just makes me really emotional because of the story it tells. The entire album the song is from is a concept album, with each of the songs expanding upon the story of the main character whos dealing with anxiety and depression, which all comes to a head in the final track (the one mentioned earlier), where he jumps off the top of a church. The lyrics in the song tell this story, which is one half of why its such an emotional song for me, but the other half has to do with the lead singer of the band. At the time of the album (2006) he was an alcoholic, struggling to come to terms with his sexuality, and had a lot of anxiety. About 10 years later, he started to be very open with his sexuality, and his overall struggles with mental health, in order to help others with similar problems along with himself. Recently, hes been in a much better mental state compared to any other time in his life, which is a story that really fills me with inspiration and hope.
Sorry for all the yap lmao, tldr I love the song for the gut wrenching story it tells and the inspiration it gives me because of the lead singers growth since the release of the song!!!
Don't worry about yapping lol!! I'm glad the artist managed to accept himself in the end. I feel like songs with a little bit of the writer's pain in them are always bound to be really beautiful in some way eventually.
Cocaine and Abel by Amigo the Devil... Big sucker for all of the murder folk music we found the band through, then felt like getting hit by a semi-truck when hearing this song, hah. Margot by Jack Van Cleaf is a close second...
meltdown by iroha(sasaki)!! its also a vocaloid song where they used the same voicebank used in young girl A (kagamine rin :3) it always makes me cry I love this song sooo much :(
Probably a drag path by twenty one pilots Mostly because of the dinosaur edit, but it kinda feels like me because i don't eant to be forgotten, i want to leave my mark and the song represents my desperation so much
Hold On Till May by Pierce the Veil and I really recommend the song. The lyrics also written based on the true story of the vocalist's friend, and the message it sends to people who are coping with a life crisis is really meaningful and emotional!!!
