Getting really into the guy who sang the Franklin theme song. I'll leave his name out of this post for dramatic/comedic effect, but if you don't know him his name is pronounced CO-BURN, and not how it's spelt. Took me an embarrassingly long time to figure that out. He has a great career of activism too, which is pretty cool. I've been listening to the Waiting For A Miracle album. :)

Does anyone else have a so-called 'bad' album that they just love?

For me, it has always been the album Nachtflug by Falco; this is after his early fame from songs like 'Rock Me Amadeus' and 'Der Kommissar.' The album lacks a lot of what made Falco's early albums good, but so many songs on Nachtflug are earworms that it's hard to hate them.

Does anyone else have an album like this? It's not the artist's best work, and it will never be. But it's a favorite of yours?

i've been listening to Drug Bug very frequently lately. hell for a basement is one of my favorite albums to be released this year, and is also one of my favorite albums in my bandcamp collection. at least top 3 for both. it is just so utterly beautiful and i highly recommend listening to it. gif related because it's from the blood runs cold music video

Florance Road.
- Miss: This song gave me chills the first time I was listening to it. The transition of the that soft melody to sharp and electrifying guitar is what i live for. Has been on repeat for many days now.

- 7563: Just liten to it. it makes me feel like the atoms in my body wanna transend.

- Hanging out to dry: one if not the first song of hers i listened to. PEAK

So I wanted to do a little bit of research so i can include a picture AND O M G ITS ALL WOMEN. ITS A BAND OF ALL WOMEN its so cool. :D

Rita Lee. That's all I'm gonna say.

On a serious note, one of her best albums, shown here, has some of her best songs like "Lança perfume, Caso serio, Nem luxo nem lixo, etc." My other favorite songs outside this album such as "Saúde, Desculpe o auê, and Reza" give a really good insight in the Queen of Brazilian Rock :D

Absoluely recommend!

Currently listening to Heaven by The Hails. My other fave song ive been having on repeat is Paradoxic by Starset. I find myself having imposter syndrome while listening to these songs because thats not what i used to listen to. but lately, ive been listening to a lot of rock and altenative music. a complete 180 from the soft tunes i use to jam to. Elevator music my friends call it. tho i listen to everything reall, im just leaning more towards my alt style. evn fashion sense lol. I am pinky pie, and her sister all in one person lol

One of my favorite things to do is buy records in the bargain bin that no one has any idea who they are. Sometimes the album isn't my style, but most of the time, the stuff on them is great. I have a lot of these albums with no one to share them with, so I might as well post them here.

McGuinness Flint's self-titled is one of those albums that surprised me; the cover of the record sounds nothing like the music; it's very of its time, a late 1960s folkish rock sound. They had one hit in the early 70s, but their self-titled album is the only album to ever chart.

"Heritage" and "Brother Pysche" on this album are the standout songs to me, calm to listen to. The song “When I'm Dead And Gone” was the only song by this band to ever chart; it doesn't stand out to me in this album. It just sounds too much like so many other songs of the early 1970s.

So i thought i'd give my most listened horror music artist!
The Onibi series by Masa Works Design!!
They created peak music like The Spider And The Fox-Like Lion, The fox's wedding, & The demon child in the clear mirror (which is the actual song for the Kagome Kagome trend!)
It actually a full on novel and manga! I haven't read them both yet considering i havent rlly bothered to look into the lore if im being hoenst, the songs are jsut rlly catchy!

If you're the type to listen to all kinds of music, i will definitly recommend the EP "Philosophie du Soi" by PAON
The cover is absolutely ethereal and so is the music, it's giving the same vibes as Nier Automata, Ghost and the shell with a bit of Persona music
It's very hard to truly describe it but one of the ways to put it is that "the music sounds exactly like the cover art looks"

Nara Leão has to be one of my favorite artists of all time. If you're looking into bossa nova and are interested in learning more about the genre, please give her a listen! she's the reason I became interested in brazilian culture and learned a new language as well!

I recommend listening to these albums:
"Dez anos depois" (1971)
"Nara" (1964)
"Obras-Primas" (1996)
