I have a feeling the only way to naturally have a chance at making friends as an adult is joining classes, to learn a skill like art or coding or craftsmanship etc Having common interests with other people will make it easier to start convos ^^ Still gotta apply this advice myself tho lol
Yess I am going to an art workshop this week to hopefully make some ^^ ngl i alr knew the answer to my question but asked j in case someone knew some secret strategy 😔
Good luck!! Try to use your imagination n delusion a bit and pretend that you're already a sociable person with a lot of friends and ask yourself what would this kind of person say or do? Just a small tip I try to use, hopefully it can work for you :)
This one might be kinda pricey, depending on where you're from or what music you like, but going to concerts, especially when you're going alone is a pretty easy way to make friends in my experience!
To be so real? Just talk to strangers. Be forward. The same questions still work. Adults are still the same kid, under all those layers is that same 9 year old who would like to tell you what their favorite color is and why, or what their favorite dinosaur is, and more.
I like to open with a compliment that leans into a question; example- "I like your hair! Do you use anything to make it look so nice?"; "Cool shirt! Thats from -show/game-, right? Whats your fav part?"; "I think your nails are so cute! Where did you get them done? Or are they press-ons?"; etc etc etc.
Dont overthink it, and people will accumulate over time.
