Tips for having roommates as someone who lived in a dorm their freshman year. Communicate a bunch! Talk about boundaries, who will clean what in the common spaces and when, times you would like to deem quiet hours on weekdays/weekends, when having guests over is appropriate, and I suggest making a group chat so it’s easy to communicate when you aren’t there in person. Usually your roommates are the first ppl you meet so try some icebreakers to get to know everyone, yall are all in this new experience tg so I’m sure that will lessen everyone’s nerves.
