Chat how do I stay in good contact with my parents?? I've been living in an apartment for the first time EVER without them for like not even 2 weeks and I've barely talked to them! (I actually really like my parents, they're pretty cool) But I'm struggling to call/text because I don't wanna feel like I'm bothering them during the week! How do ya'll keep family updated when you no longer live at home?

Hii guys let’s do a check in! Some of us have already started our first semester back so I want to do kinda like a Q&A that we did at the beginning of forming this group! Ofc you don’t need to answer and you can just reply with something else you’d like to share or ask that I didn’t include down below.

Q: How has your semester gone so far? (Good/Bad/Meh/Other), feel free to go into detail if you’d like!
A: For me it’s going good school wise, only thing is annoying is my apartment had a bad leak so now I’m staying in a hotel for the meantime.
Q: is there an assignment you’re looking forwards to completing/doing or one that you aren’t looking forward to?
A: I’m excited to complete my research paper at the end of the year!
Q: Have you met any new people that you want to be or now friends with? It’s okay if not! You’ll meet someone soon.
A: I met a cool upperclassman in my history class who’s the same major as me! She’s given me a ton of tips for my psych major and I hope to be friends with her :).

i'm starting second year in two weeks and we just got our modules for the year and my friend has half the modules than me :') i'm gonna die this year I have like five chirstmas exams and she has none too

Started my first week of sophomore year, I had a professor no show two classes in a row.. had the head of the department teach my class today instead. Okay question for everyone- how does one make friends in college? I've already been attending college for 2 years but have yet to make any friends. I wouldn't call myself extremely introverted, but it's been a real struggle. For some context, I attend community college at the moment, which I feel makes it harder to make friends. Any advice? （╥ ω ╥）

It’s already August and I can’t wait for my fall semester to begin. Not excited to do coursework but more excited to move to my off campus apartment and see my friends:). Anyone else starting this month?
