My favourite and first romance anime was teasing master takagi san. the anime and manga are quite different in their endings but whichever you watch they're both really good !! :]]
I also recently finished reading Kamisama Kiss (it has an anime too!). it's still shoujo and has a lot of japanese mythology inspired elements but it's really good
i know some BL too! I haven't watched much but my favs are Go For It, Nakamura! ; This Boy Caught A Merman (this is only 29 minutes long and the animation sucks but the art is so pretty) and Douukyuusei/Classmates (i didn't finish this one but it's a one hour movie and the art is so pretty).

AND OMGFG I didn't know that Go For It, Nakamura was the inspiration for all the "go for it" fan art, that's so cool, and thank you for reminding me of Douukyuusei, I used to be OBSESSED with the art style so bad that I copied the art style and tried to make the main character my oc ( my 13yo self had no creativity (￣┰￣*) )

I was wondering if I should watch Ouran it looks pretty interesting. I think I frist saw it hen I watched a video of someone ranting about harems in anime lol (tho the comments said Ouran wasn't really a harem)
YESSS Go for it Nakamura started the whole trend. It's really nice to see so many different fandoms doing their take on it!! Also because of your comment (I forgot to reply yesterday...) I actually finished watching Doukyuusei and it's ending was really sweet :]] I didn't finish it initially because of the teacher and Sajou but I guess it redeemed itself in the end. I can't hate on it that much hen the style looks so good ^o^
