this cover always reminded me of those I Spy books
It totally does, I always think it looks like someone spread the contents of their pockets onto a photocopier and hit scan
i was gonna say it looks like that lol
the i spy thin, not the photocopier thing, haha but thats creative and accurate
Ooooooo that cover looks so cool!! My favourite rn would be Bury Me With You's album Caskets For Two, its got that like emo art style if I were to describe it :D it looked really awesome and its what got me to listen to their music too
that style is such a classic, 10y/o me was enamoured with it. I always used to want the blue scene hair like that !
That looks so cool!! I love the composition of it all. It's just nice to look at.

As for some of my favourites, it's probably the cover for Lamp Genso and For Lovers by Lamp. There's also Rebecca Sugar's Spiralbound. Maybe someone might have seen them before :0
I've seen Lamp Genso a few times before,I've seen the Steven Universe album covers (which are great) but I didn't know Rebecca Sugar did other music too
Yeah they made other songs as well! She said she made Spiralbound after the ending of Steven Universe future and it as their way of sorting expressing themself creatively for the first time in a while without Steven Universe.
I think my favourite is still songs by adrianne lenker.... the colours are so recognisable I would buy one million items with that design on it
Just looked it up, that's a great choice it's so lovely to look at
Yes, I've seen that album cover before! I agree with everyone that it looks like it belongs in an I-Spy book.

I'm a fan of the covers of the albums/singles Bedside Manor, Akathisia, and Surgery by the artist Machinery of the Human Heart. Others are Maggot by Dazey and the Scouts, Spirit Phone by Lemon Demon, and On Avery Island by Neutral Milk Hotel.
It's interesting that most of your picks have that handmade / collage style to them, I can't help but think of Built for Blame Laced with Shame by Get Scared when I see that style of lettering
I fear my choice is very biased but I will always and forever love Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. Hard to forget that one, and it also happens to be my favorite out of their discography. I'm also really fond of Queen of the Night by Dirt Poor Robins, which has a really nice style that reminds me almost of the art on dollar bills or old newspapers and Mugzy's Move by Royal Crown Revue, which I think really fits the vibe of the album with the classic fonts and illustration style
Three Cheers is so iconic, also Mugzy's Move is so cool with the comic-y noir style :^D
RIGHT IT'S SO COOL Plus the songs in the album itself really carry that vibe of old noir and pulp fiction type stories so the cover represents it so well
@believesteve / Abbie I adore art that looks handmade. Collage art is so, so cool. I'm also a big fan of artworks with the vintage kind of grainy cover.
