had to read the most brain dead reply ever. on this website i have friends on i wrote "i wanna dress more feminine" and my friend was like "is that really [my name]" (like wdym??) and i was like what? is there a problem and he was like"u dont act fem meaning u cant dress fem" this mf does not know me irl,also how does one act fem?? tell me I'm not the only one thinking this is pure bs. like you can't dictate what is feminine right???

He was being very invasive and dare I say entitled with that response. Telling someone to act feminine in general sounds super suspicious and misogynistic. Is he gonna start telling you to go make him a sandwich or something?

And yeah, as Micah said, clothing has no inherent gender. Societies apply genders to them, but they're ultimately just clothes. There is no requirement to be of a feminine gender to dress feminine. Same with every gender.

that's what i was thinking cuz how are you as a boy ( im talking about my friend not you) telling me (afab) that i can't dress fem hello?? like it is just clothes and the friend responded and said it was a joke ew.
