It feels weird to me, I understand in private time, events or parties but publicly it's inappropriate for me. Most people i knew who publicly weared them came out as... not very good people

personally it seems really fucking cool but also its important to consider the ethicality of wearing these. i am against the exploitation of other animals, no matter the reason. more often than not these accessories are from actual animal product and are found unethically (e.g. killing the animals for this and fur farming). even if you try and by fake accessories sometimes they aren't (but thats an entire seperate legal issue). but yeah i think its cool and fun, if done without exploitation and is based off fake products without ethical concerns (this also includes the enviroment bc this stuff can have many issues)

perhaps I should clarify, I mean faux animal tails and ears!! I know, especially fox tails, are sold and used as accessories but I'm personally referring to accessories made out of faux fur or other craft materials, NOT real animals! Unfortunately, you can never know where those real animal furs were sourced from, so it's extremely wise to steer clear of them.

It's such a nothingburger issue, even if cringe culture tries to make it into a big deal. The idea that wearing animal accessories means that person must be a furry who also does fucked up shit is so stupid. The hatred for furries in general is stupid.

Personally, I don't want to wear animal accesories, but I would love alien antennae. A cloak crafted to look like wings (bird or bug) would also be AWESOME!

I think it's SO fun of a thing to do especially coming from someone who's entire gender is just "funny creature that just happens to be male" because I wanna get a night fury tail and head nubs maybe wings because it's make me feel so much better about myself! some people don't understand it's literally just accessories and there's nothing inappropriate about them just like furries and stuff, so if it makes you feel better and you're doing it ethically (which based on the comment you posted I see you are that's good) then there's nothing wrong with it!!

I actually feel the same way!! I really wish I could wear cat ears and tail because it just looks so cute and I just love it idk but kenomimis are so fetishized and disliked that I'm scared to actually buy some for myself to wear even in private. The most that I did was a hairstyle that resembled cat ears and I loved it sm, I really wish it wouldn't be considered weird to wear those or unsafe TT

I don't know if it counts but in middle school I used to wear a unicorn headband! nobody ever bothered me about it and people thought it was really cute but I really don't know if it counts..
