Can you guys recommend any PC/Laptop programs for taking notes that are similair to Notion or OneNote? I tried Obsidian but it does not really work with me. Maybe someone has a better program?
All I can think of is Ellipsus, but it's much closer to Word or Google Docs. That said, it's good and staunchly AI-free. It recently released a premium version, but the free version is intentionally still really good. Right now, they are working on offline apps so people don't need to use the web version. The Android one recently released.
What features do you want in a program? Ellipsus is great for writing, but not for images and it has no table support.
I just looked into Libre Office. It's like Microsoft Office, but free and open-source. It's also not by Microsoft, which is a plus, haha. It has equivalents to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Writer, Calc, and Impress), plus Draw (diagrams and illustrations), Base (databases), and Math (just, like, maths formulas). Sounds good if you want a whole package.
Ohhh I will check that one out. AI-free is definetly a good feature haha! I just really like the way the documents are collected in OneNote or Notion. You know, the whole open one thing into a list of more but not like on Word.
