Halah by Mazzy Star is beautiful and wistful sad and somehow feels like it matches the mood perfectly no matter what situation I'm in. I've listened to it in a sunny field, alone at the train station, on a walk in the rain, and it feels life-changing every time to me (I think I might make a music blog).
So glad to hear it, I get what you mean about it sounding like Lana, maybe it's the kind of floaty drawn-out sound and general sadness in the voice. I hope you enjoy the rest of the album :^D
I will warn you though that the rest of She Hangs Brightly can sound a little bit samey, Halah is kind of the odd one out on that album because it's so unique. Still definitely worth a listen !
I actually enjoyed the album alot, i did hear the repitition you were talking about, but that didnt make it bad in the slightest. id love to hear more recommendations if you dont mind
