Hark! The young lady speaks about a matter most frightening to her. THE IDEA IF REACHING OUT AND BEING PERSEIVED AS WEIRD!!!
So, many moons ago, i was on the clock app scrolling through. i happen to stumble across this young lad who was on a live. I decided to join the coversation since his hair intrigued me. we had a blast talking about fashion, then i discovered her is a model!
the next day i came across his live again and to my surprise i was the only one there. we talked about books this time.
and now many moons later, i find my mom has a book her sister gifted her. the tittle? the exact one the young lad was talking about. i got excited. perhaps if i read the physical copy instead of the electrical one, i wont be bores out of my mind.
i went to the clock app and did some investigativ work. his insta was in hos bio, so when i went to it, i found that HE MIGHT BE WAY TOO COOL FOR ME. im so scared to interact with him. what if he thinks im creepy? is this stalking? i keep getting the urge to reach out to him, but I ALWAYS CHICKEN OUT!!. What if he doesnt remember me?
my personal intagram is so lame compared to his. mine is full of memes and one post that have like 4 pictures of me and the friends i made while i was abroad. my highlights arent are curated, nor do theyy look like i have a life (not that i do). he goes to paris! lives i TOKYO BRO. And im just a girl from a small village in Africa. And i cant help but wonder, what if he doesnt wanna talk to me BECAUSE IM BLACK. i know it sounds crazy, BUT THIS HAS HAPPENED before.
sigh.
all these irrational what ifs in my head. i should JUST REACH OUT. BUT IM SCARED!! WHAT DO I EVEN SAY?!!

I understand the idea of being afraid of doing way too much and to seems weird but I don't think you look weird at all, if he isn't interested in talking to you then so be it lives goes on and the world doesn't stop spinning
In fact I think he would feel happy to talk to the person he talked about fashion, hair and books again especially if you were the only one on his live
Who knows what happens before you came, maybe when finally seeing a live message he thought "hey finally someone I can speak too" and "hey it's that person again"
Plus, I am very sorry you had a horrible experience with racism, if this person doesn't want to talk to you because of your skin color, then he's a horrible person and you shouldn't worry about him
The background of a person does not matter, so what if you live in a small village in Africa, so what if he lives in Paris? The most important is who you are
Don't lower your head for such foolish matters your crown will fall ໒꒱
