i like to draw, i have a massive love for comics, i like gaming and technology stuff. i mostly play pc, 3ds, and ps3. my absolute favorite game ever is Nier Automata (ask me about it). i like kingdom hearts, drakengard/Nier, zelda, resident evil, titanfall 2, and too many others to count. i have a huge appreciation for music. in my opinion the story told throughout the Nier series is the greatest piece of fiction ever created. i like discussing things so feel free to chat about any interests.
Music
i like good music with real passion poured into making it. alternative rock and stuff on the more chill/mellow side, MCR is a favorite. i like classical music. the best OST of all time by far goes to the Nier series.
Movies
i tend to be critical of most movies i watch nowadays, but i truly do love film as art. when movies are good, i love them, but when a movie lacks effort or direction, it can be hard for me to overlook. a movie doesnt have to be perfect for me to enjoy it though. i like harry potter, guardians of the galaxy, some starwars, ratatuille, transformers one (frick bumblebee though), whiplash, juno, step brothers, pacific rim, backrooms
Television
Jojo's bizarre adventure (NOT english dubbed), Your lie in april, My love story!, Sword art online, Demon slayer. i like the generation 1 transformers show from 1984, adventure time, steven universe (i loved it as a kid), regular show, always sunny, and some others but those are the main ones i can think of right now.
Books
some people might say this doesnt count for their idea of books, but i frickin love comic books. ill be so happy if i illustrate and potentially write comics for a living. my current favorite is Image's current run of Transformers. absolutey amazing writing and art. i also collect and read manga but admittedly i have quite a bit sitting still unread on my shelf :/
Heroes
Jesus is the ultimate hero

does anybody ever visit any of toontown's or club penguin's modern day fan revivals? i usually play them a couple times every few months and im wondering how many qwenq users know about them or actively play them. toontown has some really cool users and a few super chill spots, my favorite is donalds dreamland and the streets around it
leave three of your favorite anime in the comments (does not have to be in order of which ones you like more if youre like me and cant place one above another)
my favorites currently are: JJBA, My love story!, and Your lie in april. its hard to pick three and leave out all the other favorites, but its sort of like a challenge.
it seems the activity on this site is growing, with myself just getting here roughly 24 hours ago. im happy to see that, as i think this is 100% a place to save. however i do wonder if this might unfortunately be a short term win for the site, because in this age its rare to see a large number of people stick with something for long. hope that the numbers stay consistent and the community grows positively. i wonder if its possible to go back to a simple and healthy social setting online anymore with how much the average persons brain and dopamine reception has been altered by modern entertainment and internet. what are your opinions?
first post :) i have a quote from kingdom hearts for you today.
"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend. now i will step forward to realize this wish. And who knows: starting a new journey may not be so hard, or maybe it has already begun. there are many worlds, but they share the same sky- one sky, one destiny."
some of this quote sounds nearly nonsensical, but i think theres some meaning to be taken from it. i mostly just like the middle section, "And who knows: starting a new journey may not be so hard, or maybe it has already begun." because i think thats a really good way to view starting new hard changes in life, as someone who struggles to move forward. its a simple change in view that shows that maybe just the desire for change is where the change starts, maybe you dont have to be afraid of change because its not something you have to start manually, maybe just wanting a change is where it was put into motion, and then where its up to you is continuing in that new movement in your life. i hope im making sense.
hey everyone i made a new group called Soapbox. its for anybody to yap about how cool their favorite things are and why they like them so much. come share what you love, youll probably inspire someone to check it out.
