.⋅ ♫ ⋅. Yanna .⋅ ♫ ⋅.

omggggg I've been incredibly inactive here aaaaa D: Anyways I have this art attack I did for my friends, its of the oc band we all created (my character is the girl on the right!!)

I see everyone doing introductions here so I might as well properly introduce myself too!!

So Heyooo, you can call me Yanna, I use any pronouns. I'm 18 and I'm from Ireland. Education wise I graduated secondary school and I'm really hoping I get to study history in university this September :D

My main interests are in art and music, they're very closely linked too. At the moment I mainly draw musicians I like but I do like drawing my ocs, I'm participating in art fight this year, my user is in my bio if you're you wanna take a look!!

As for music, it has always been huge part of my life. I've been doing classical piano since I was very little and only last year have I picked up the guitar, I hope to at least write one song this year (its been hard tryna start writing one ngl..). When it comes to music I listen to, I don't particularly have a favourite. I grew up on a lot of classic rock, The Beatles being one of my fav bands of all time, I also like Cream, Derek and the Dominoes and The Police. Some of the bands I currently listen to are Green Day, MCR, The Descendents, Pulp and Gorrilaz. There are plenty more ofc but these are like some of the ones I can remember at the moment (some are in my bio too). I also still love listening to classical music from time to time, I'm considering learning another piece on the piano, idk which yet tho. Also if you ever want to share music recs with me, feel free to!! I'm always on the hunt for new music

Even though I don't watch any new anime, I have a few long time favourites, those being Attack On Titan, JJBA, JJK, and HxH. I also love learning about history, I particularly like learning about English Medieval History, Horrible Histories fueled this interest in it LMAO

Anyways thats all I have to say about me!! if any of this is of your interest, don't be afraid to reach out, I'd love to be mutuals with some of yous!!

Quick Frank Iero drawing I did :D he’s so cool man

And here’s my current Green Day collection!! This is probably my second most fav band after the Beatles :D

Some of my favourite cds from my collection!!

My latest artfight attack!! I wanted to try a more rendered style and I think it turned our pretty good:)

A very odd crossover :D

It always feels like an honour when I get to make a playlist of my music recs for a friend, Like bro you're trusting me to give you some music to listen to?! Its like I got picked for the golden ticket for Wonka's Chocolate Factory or smthn LMAO, It's always so fun to do and most of the time they'll walk away with a new fav band or couple of songs!! And I also get to yap about my music interests for a tiny bit, so its a win win :D

My wall of music that I cut out from my cds :D

Operation Ivy is a band I started listening to a lot recently. They're a ska-punk band, I believe they only have this one album and a couple of live albums, the band's career only lasted 2 years or so. I think they're great, I discovered them from Green Day's cover of Knowledge :D

Also my shelves, it has more of my Beatle merch that I got when I went to Liverpool recently (I also still gotta get through some of Shakespeare plays I have there…)

An older piece, but here’s a drawing of my oc, Saoirse!! I like this drawing a lot, its the best representation of what my art looks like if I genuinely put in more effort😭🙏 I have got to draw her more.. haven’t been able to for a bit now

Here's one of my newer pieces!! Bro Gerard Way is so fun to draw

Mannnn I really need to get back into playing classical piano again😖 its been forever since I completely player one whole piece that isnt Für Elise…

I'm not really knowledgeable about these kinds of websites, but I thought I'd join cuz it seems really cool and I like the idea of having a place to yap about random things!!
