smilez in Astrology & Tarot

How did you get into tarot or astrology? I honestly got myself diving deep into it on a whim (shout out to my aries mars) and ended up loving it. I've always had surface-level interest in pop astrology, tarot and witchcraft (I don't think I'm fit to be a witch ^^;) but it's a lot more enjoyable when you have a better understanding of it. What I love about it is that there's so much to learn and I want to keep learning forever.

I had been interested in astrology and tarot since I was pretty young. For a long time it was mostly surface level since I had a hard time focusing on it for a lot of reasons. I started getting deeper into it and actually practicing somewhat recently, like some odd years or so.

I totally relate to loving how much there is to learn, it’s really fun seeing all the patterns and exploring yourself, and it also helps me feel a little more in control and connected to my life in a way. And honestly, in my opinion, you don’t have to go all out with witchcraft either if you don’t feel comfortable to. It can be whatever feels safe and meaningful to you, even a small thing or two.

yesss that's what I love about it too. recognizing the patterns and exercising your intuition feels like a rewarding skill to have and fun too. about witchcraft, i've only done a handful of spells. i started out with sigils because they're very accessible and easy to do. it's not for me at the moment because I don't have the drive to commit to the whole practice because that's the point of witchcraft, you need to be crafting. so I feel like it's dishonest of me to call myself a witch when I only ever do spells like once a year TT

honestly I don't remember how i got into tarot I think one of the tarot reading videos went on my feed and i got sucked in, and then astrology got put into it too

I feel like that's how a lot people's first introduction to tarot or astrology is today. I think it's pretty cool (I really like Ivy Underwood's content) but it sucks that there's also a lot of misinformation so stay critical!

my mama was lowk a practitioner of sorts so i grew up with those kinds of things!! i think i’d like to join her path, it’s just that i’m christian or catholic (ion even remember which anymore augh) and i’d get slimed out like a witch spotted in salem

I started to get into both once I converted to Paganism! I did a lot of studying and continue to do so in witchcraft and paganism in general and it lead me to astrology and tarot cards. I also love the fact that there is so much learning when it comes to these things.
