Megadeth, Slipknot or Iron Maiden def if you want some classic stuff!!!! I'd also love to recommend Type O Negative also if you want something gothic and deep. If you want sth more extreme try Death Empress by Synestia & Disembodied Tyrant

Check out Mob research, small band but amazing music escpecialy "Tribe"

I think it depends on what kind of metal you're most interested in, but I recommend Burzum, Lacrimosa, Moonspell, Pantera, and Igorr (I'm not sure if it counts, but it has songs that are in the metal style). There's a little bit of a few subgenres. (─‿‿─)

if you are just getting into it id reccomend starting with metalcore adjacent artists such as bad omens, architects or bring me the horizon

check out HEALTH if you like industrial metal. they also have noise rock

Uhh I'd say Lovebites, Yousei Teikoku and Unlucky Morpheus are all metal artists that you can check out (I'm not necessarily a metal fan, but those are just some dope artists that I heard a few songs from and think are pretty cool ^^;)

I particularly like Desolate's self titled album ⬇️, but Desolate's other albums are good too. Just a different vibe.

I like Judas Priest's album Defenders Of The Faith, probably one of my favorite albums ever. Great to learn about old-school metal from the best. There's a lot of great industrial metal out there too!!
