in real life, i were to stay in the us, i would definitley want to live in the pacific northwest or at least a place far away from the city. i do love downtown areas with towns and stuff especially during autumn and winter, just not the city!!! maybe even in a village in kosovo or smth
but for fantasy purposes i would loooove to live in a vast flower field,, surrounded by animals and fairies and mermaids and werewolves and
I always wanted to build a log cabin or mud and straw hut, with my friends and have a DIY way of life there, preferably in a colder and rainy eastern European climate. I would grow a permaculture garden/ food forest next to it and have chill neighbours, I could share my veggies with.
It's a bit more than just dream home but I very specifically want to live on a large plot of land with a cozy home in the like dead middle. ON that land I want to have a large pond, animals, very ridiculously large garden that boarders on not being a garden, and a section dedicated where I can host those retreats where people go to find themselves!!
I have a specific dream house. It's a three-storey Dutch colonial house. The exterior walls are made of wood and are yellow. The roof is made of green shingles and the house has red and white trims. A big red front door with steps leading up to a covered porch. The third floor is an attic with dormer windows.
It's on a big property in the countryside. White picket fences, hedges, and flower gardens. Some iron garden furniture, a birdhouse and birdbath, and a few of those garden arch trellises. A novelty mailbox. Maybe Snoopy lying on top of his doghouse, haha.
The inside is full of antique furniture, lace curtains, and vintage floral patterns. Embroidered tablecloths, granny square blankets, 1990s whimsigoth/celestial patterns, lots of wooden furniture, and random trinkets everywhere. They're dangerous, but I want CRT TVs alongside modern ones.
I want to live in a rural farm area, in a small old house with a big yard surrounded by a thick treeline and a creek in the back. I need a house that will maximize its whimsy!! It would be so decorated on the inside. from reading the other comments i see the majority of ppl yearn for the woods and fields
I want my house to be the most whimsical thing ever and so unashamedly me that we have to have an overstimulation room to sit in because everything is so maximalist and bright. I'm talking like it's like backrooms levels that's how different each space is, some will be like pizzaplex security breach neon bowling alley cool mall and the other will be like the daycare, soft squishy fun and bright, everything will be different and fun and we'd have a giant safe playplace to stay active in because I am disabled but I wanna stay active.. but realistically? I would end up living with my mom until I can afford to live in prolly a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment with my equally as disabled friend.
Its between Europe countries (E.G. Germany, UK, Belgium), Hawaii or Northwestern places, like British Columbia. It's pretty tricky for me to decide though and it would also depend on the temperature since I'm very particular with it (I'm more moderate).
Hey I live in Germany! Weather has been mid 60s (Fahrenheit) to mid 70s. Yeah that heat wave sucked but it wasn’t the end of the world. It gets really cold though, I’m not used to this cold weather. I heard winters here are beautiful, I just got here so I’ll update you when winter finally hits ꜀( ˊ̠˂˃ˋ̠ )꜆
