not too niche, but pressed penny collecting! I have filled up 1 penny passport and am about halfway through my second :] it's just that lately I've been traveling international, so... less pennies to collect, unfortunately
@Vex: I don't think pennies exist elsewhere outside the US, pressing machines in particular I haven't seen yet either, though I've got a few coins from other countries in my collection. So it's a majority places in the US
I crochet time to time. I also made pins. I have a anime figure collection. Tho it's small. I also draw but I wanna be a artist so yeah, I don't count that as a hobbie.

To Ori: Yes, i eat them, that was the main purpose of growing them. I also like how they look, I'll share some photos on my profile, when my new mycelium gives It's first fruit bodies.
I'm really into speedcubing. I don't know how niche that really is, since the community online is pretty big, but I feel like you'd be hard pressed to find someone in real life that does it.
not niche at all but I like making friendship bracelets both with strings and beads. also like doing some junk journaling with things I find in trips or in my day to day :p
It does happen to me all the time :sob: :sob:, luckily my mom also makes handmade stuff so she uses them if I don't. But when I want to do smth with them she already used them, an endless loop lmao
well personally I'm into pretty much any kind of art (INTO and being GOOD at them are separate tho) but one of my FAVORITE things is probably stuff like designing mythical creatures if they existed IRL like looking in what it would require and the closest we could realistically get and along with that alien anatomy and the possibilities of genetics and anatomy and what we could do with the things we know about animals today, it's just another form of creation to me and my dream job may or may not be an unethical mad scientist who makes people into cool creatures but we won't talk about that lol/lhj
"Crazy", I don't really know how to call it, i try to be original by making everything "typical" and characters "stereotypes" but trying to do something cool with it. If you think of a stereotypical character, I try to make that stereotype work and to be aware of this whole stereotype. (I have love/hate relationship with stereotypes, you can do many things with that concept). Also everything is mostly going to shit, world is constantly ending in a different way in every place, some kinde of personal apocalypse based on where you are, with that comes storyline that is connected to others but not obviously. One is cia clone army of hurtful stereotypes taking advantage of "lack of apex predator type evil" caused by god literally going mad and being killed, to take over the world and other is claustrophobic horror story of wrong person in wrong time discovering ancient life form deep underground. Type shit
